ONLINE SESSION ON STRATEGIC SOLUTIONS FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF TERRITORIAL COMMUNITIES WITH THE PARTICIPATION OF  NGO PRIMAVERA EXPERTS

On February 6, 2025, experts from the NGO Primavera served as speakers at an online session discussing strategic solutions for the sustainable development of territorial communities. The session was part of the project "Reconstruction of water supply systems in the Kherson region: immediate measures and sustainable solutions," funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands under the Ukraine Partnership Facility program (UPF). The project is managed by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO).

 Over 60 participants attended the thematic event titled "Integrated approaches to water resources management in communities of the Kherson region under climate change and the impact of war on the state of water management infrastructure." They had the opportunity to attend a presentation by Olga Zhovtonog, the director of the NGO, on the systemic vision of water use and integrated water resources management (IWRM) at the community level in the face of water scarcity and the unsatisfactory condition of water infrastructure. Additionally, Tetiana Matiash, an expert from the public organization and head of the IT and innovation marketing department of the IWP&LR NAAS, presented on the establishment of water user organizations for irrigation systems management, the modernization of existing systems, and the construction of  new irrigation systems.
