On March 25, 2025, Olga Zhovtonog, director of NGO "Primavera," attended the XIII International Scientific and Practical Conference "Water for the Future: Management, Conservation, Innovations" at the Institute of Water Problems and Land Reclamation of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine. The conference was dedicated to World Water Day.
The aim of the conference was to raise awareness and draw attention to the issues of the state of water bodies in conditions of military aggression, water scarcity, and the need for conservation, restoration, and rational use of water resources.
During the plenary session, Olga Zhovtonog presented a report on the topic "Reconstruction and development of water management and land reclamation in Ukraine: technocratic or socio-economic dimension."
Overall, about 200 representatives from 42 research institutions of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences, government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and higher education institutions participated in the conference.
