On January 26, 2024, the last working meeting of the participants of the Public Water Initiative of Ukraine (PWIU) took place online. The purpose of the meeting was to present and discuss the results of the communication between PWIU representatives and various government agencies regarding the implementation and development of Water Policy.

Members of PWIU shared the results of their work in domestic and international projects, as well as the outcomes of their participation in various events related to the development and implementation of Ukraine's Water Policy.

At the end of the meeting, participants discussed the next steps for organizing a national-level event in March 2025 to support the State Agency for Water Resources, the State Agency for Development of Land Reclamation, Fisheries, and Food Programs, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources, and the Ministry of Agricultural Policy in setting tasks for the Government to improve and develop the economic and security components of Water Policy. Participants wished each other success in the coming year, including capacity building of the established platform of expert environment, which is currently the Public Water Initiative of Ukraine.
