On October 17, 2024, a working meeting took place between experts from the NGO "Primavera," the Institute of Water Problems and Land Reclamation of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences, and representatives of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, the State Agency for Water Resources, and the State Agency for Development of Land Reclamation, Fisheries, and Food Programs.

During the meeting, Olga Zhovtonog provided information on the results of projects and initiatives that the team of experts from the public organization, in close cooperation with the employees of the Institute of Water Problems and Land Reclamation, implemented during 2022-2024. These projects and initiatives were related to addressing current issues related to integrated water and land resources management in territories, rural development, engaging stakeholders at the local and regional levels, and other challenges associated with the reconstruction of a water sector in post-war times.

Participants pledged support for future projects aimed at addressing current issues in the field of water resources, as well as for the further activities of the Public Water Initiative, which was created to influence the public and expert community in the field of water management on the processes of developing, shaping, and implementing water policy in Ukraine based on water governance principles.

Meeting participants expressed their desire for close cooperation and continued practice of systematic information exchange regarding the results of implemented projects and support for new initiatives.
