From November 1 to 3, 2023 the second working visit of the expert group of NGO Primavera took place to the Suvorovska territorial community of Odesa region, which was chosen by the "Expert Dialogue on Land Issues" as a pilot.
The purpose of the visit was to continue joint work with representatives of local authorities and stakeholders at the local level on the development of the concept of communal land resources management of the Suvorovska territorial community.
The main tasks of the working visit were the presentation and discussion of the draft Concept, prepared by the stakeholders of the pilot community and experts of the NGO Primavera in accordance with the content agreed at the previous meetings.
During the visit, a seminar was held, the participants of which actively discussed the main provisions of the Concept, the roadmap and program for the implementation of the Concept, determined the format of co-financing and formulated recommendations for improving legislation for the sustainable development of community land management.
Based on the results of working discussions, sections on the creation of a communal enterprise for management and land use, as well as the implementation of environmental protection measures and the creation of recreational zones were added to the draft Concept.
A final plan for completing the work on writing the document has also been developed.
