On March 7, 2024, the director of the NGO Primavera, Olga Zhovtonog, participated in a meeting of the public council at the State Agency for Water Resources of Ukraine. During the meeting, the report on the work of the Public Council for 2023 and the work plan for 2024 were presented. Zhovtonog Olga delivered a presentation on the need to create a water public platform for the development of democratic principles in water management.

In addition, participants discussed the following issues: projects of River Basin Management Plans; the need to implement standards set out in the environmental Directives of the European Union; adaptation of EU environmental legislation to Ukrainian environmental legislation; legislative regulation of river revitalization and renaturalization activities; the state of water ecosystems and water sources of the Kakhovka Reservoir.
