The IAMO Forum 2024 took place from 26-28 June 2024 to discuss "The Functions of Land in Times of Change: Environmental, Social, and Economic Perspectives" in Halle (Saale), Germany.

The IAMO Forum 2024 aimed to develop a comprehensive understanding of the dynamic roles of land in a world undergoing rapid transformation.
The Forum welcomed contributions on the following topics:
• Trade-offs between social, ecological, and economic functions of land
• Interplay of land use and environmental pressures
• Implications of land ownership and property rights distribution
• Land market dynamics, prices, and efficiency
• Impacts of land markets and regulations
• Effects of conflicts and warfare on agriculture
• Land ethics
Olga Zhovtonog, director of NGO Primavera, participated in the event and presented a speech in the PARALLEL ORGANIZED SESSIONS A5 OS (APD Ukraine. Effects of war on agriculture in Ukraine) on the topic “Land and Water Scenarios to Support Agricultural Restoration after the Kakhovka Dam Disaster.”
