On March 30, 2023, an online working meeting of the initiative group was held on to support the implementation, improvement and development of the Water Strategy of Ukraine. The meeting was organized by the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering (NUWEE, Rivne) with the support of the NGO Primavera
The purpose of the event was to combine efforts and adopt a concrete action plan by the initiative group with the participation of the specialists from the NUWEE, Institute of Water Problems and Land Reclamation (IWPLR) and NGO Primavera with the support of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources (MEPNR) and its Reforms Office, the State Agency of Water Resources (SAWR) to promote the organization of comprehensive сcoordination to ensure the implementation of the Water Strategy of Ukraine. It was also agreed to develop an analytical document assessing the needs for the revision and development of the Water Strategy, its distribution and presentation to the Government of Ukraine and international donor organizations with the aim of initiating an international project.
