Working visits of Primavera experts to the pilot territories are planned as part of the implementation of the project tasks. So, in particular, from July 31 to August 4, the first working visit to the Suvorovska Territorial Community (TC) of Odesa Region, which was selected by the Expert Dialogue on Land Issues as a pilot community, took place.

The purpose of the visit was to start joint work with managers and specialists of the Suvorovska TC and stakeholders at the local level on the formation of the content and writing sections of the Concept of Communal Land Resources Management of the Suvorovska TC. During the visit, two workshops were held with representatives of all stakeholder groups. The participants of the seminars were managers and experts of the community, water users organization members and farmers.

During the first seminar an analysis of land use in the territory of the community was carried out, a vision was formed and strategic directions for improving the management of communal lands were determined.

The second workshop was devoted to the application of existing tools of land consolidation and integrated land and water management to increase the efficiency of community land management, including irrigated land. As a result of joint work in groups, the seminar participants proposed and provided a description of the main components of two projects to optimize the conditions of community land use using simple and integrated consolidation tools and various methods of land evaluation.

The next working visit to Suvorovska TC will take place in the first decade of September 2023.
