NGO Primavera and Suvorovska village territorial community of Izmail district in Odessa region signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.

The goals of cooperation are:

1. Establishing partnership relations and developing effective and mutually beneficial long-term cooperation aimed at scientifically based management of water and land resources of the territorial community and implementation of joint projects.

2. Supporting joint advisory and educational activities.

3. Using modern educational and scientific programs and technologies for training and improving the qualifications of local self-government officials and WUO representatives.

4. Supporting the development of community projects by involving experts from the NGO "Primavera" in the following areas:

- restoration and modernization of irrigation systems, water supply networks;

- management of water resources of Katlabuk Lake and Kitay Lake;

- development of water users' organizations;

- creation of recreational clusters on community lands;

- establishment of agricultural cooperatives;

- assistance in the work of the public platform of TC;

- training of TC and WUO specialists;

- establishment of WUO associations at the state and regional levels.

5. Advocating for the interests of the community, WUO at the local and regional levels.

6. Facilitating international technical assistance for TC projects.

The Memorandum has already come into effect since the date of its signing - March 26, 2024.
