The second working meeting of partners supporting the Public Water Initiative (PWI) took place on June 14, 2024. The initiative was spearheaded by NGO Primavera, the Institute of Water Problems and Land Reclamation of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences, and the NGO "Women Water Partnership UA".

Prior to the meeting, the final version of the Declaration was approved, serving as the foundation for uniting the efforts of the expert public environment and establishing the PWI to support the Government in the formation and implementation Ukraine's intersectional water policy for water management restoration and development.

A total of 34 water experts from 27 organizations, including scientific and educational institutions, NGOs, businesses, local government bodies, and water user organizations, signed the Declaration.

During the meeting, participants discussed the action plan for the PWI's activities and upcoming steps, such as presenting the key provisions of the PWI and its future activities at the Interagency Steering Committee of the National Political Dialogue on Integrated Water Resources Management in Ukraine on June 19-20, 2024.
