On July 23, 2024, an online meeting of the participants of the Public Water Initiative of Ukraine (PWIU) was held.
The main purpose of the event was to present information on communications with stakeholders that have taken place since the last meeting of the PWIU on June 14, 2024, as well as to discuss proposals and agree on a joint action plan for the coming months.
The participants identified delegated representatives for meetings with the government and negotiations with donors, and also worked on a draft analytical document to support the launch of the National Water Dialogue and the development of the Water Policy of Ukraine, taking into account modern challenges.
The National Water Dialogue is planned to start with the organization of a Round Table in September 2024 with the participation of PWIU, representatives of the government, international projects and donors to combine efforts to develop the
Water Vision of Ukraine. In total, 23 participants joined the working meeting.
